On Remembrance Day, we at TMS as a company want to pay our respects as we all remember.

TMS have a lot of exciting things this week for our young people week in the lead up to Children in Need!
Our 'Thought Tree' gives our young people the opportunity to post their thoughts about TMS.
We have kicked off the week decorating cupcakes and begun making our costumes for the Halloween fashion show.
As part of spooky week, everyone had the opportunity to create their own costumes for the fashion show and banquet!
TMS had the opportunity to go to a farm to visit some animals and learn what skills you need to have to look after certain animals. They even had the chance to look at how to be a bee keeper! π
Supporting two of our sport mentors, Kevin and Ed who are First team players for Gloucester City!
Our young people have made their own shop for role playing. They have learnt how to budget their money and what things are needed for everyday living!
TMS has got some new fun equipment, learning how to make beats and music soundtracks. One of our young people used this equipment to make a rap about their time at TMS!
With the small breaks in the rain our young people have enjoyed being out in the community!
TMS has started breakfast and lunch club! We always try to promote healthy eating to our young people!
Our young people have been spending the past couple of weeks making fresh pasta and meals for 2!
TMS were super lucky to have the Captain of Gloucester Rugby, Lewis Ludlow to come down this morning and visit the unit! We are so grateful he spent over an hour with our Young People and Team discussing his own experiences, taking photos and signing things for them!
We were also joined by the TMS Level 1 Sports course with Gloucester City Football Club Captain Kevin Dawson, who joined our team this academic year! Uniting the cities biggest sport clubs πͺπ½

The sun has made an appearance again this week and we have been loving it. Lots of the young people have enjoyed going out on our new scooters around the local area.
Our young people are taking full advantage of the kitchen in our new unit making lots of sweet treats for everyone to try.
Taking inspiration from the murals in Cheltenham and the Art Festival. The young people were able to draw their own mural taking inspiration from the current murals. Our young people have also been exploring Gloucester, trying out new skateparks and visiting Gloucester Railway Station.
John and Josh are enjoying leading the Level 1 Sport course, with the help from Ed, Jemma, Kevin and Skye.
The staff this week have had the opportunity to get to know our young people by engaging in all sorts of activities.
Our young people at TMS+ have begun their week learning things about their city. Finding the most popular shops and places to visit in Gloucester.
As part of TMS+ 'Our City' week, all young people had the opportunity of visiting the Museum of Gloucester learning about the Romans, Saxons and digging for fossils.
Providing a year long Level 1 Sport Course to increase the opportunities available to post 16s!
The course will be based at Tiger Turf Stadium in the Centre of Gloucester, with a handpicked team of enthusiastic TMS sport mentors! ππβ½οΈπ
Furthermore, this partnership will be extended to all young people who attended TMS with access to complementary tickets to all Gloucester City Home Games.

Boasting over 7,000 sq ft, designed to meet all the needs of the young people! This includes a huge activity room, ICT suite, common rooms, fully fitted kitchen, education spaces, quiet rooms and a multi gaming platform room πͺ

All staff, new and existing have been working hard on safeguard training to ensure all our young people, not just the most vulnerable, are in the safest environment!

TMS had a farm petting zoo come down as a send-off for the end of the year! Dozens of staff, young people and the local community joined in! That's a way to end the academic year! Thanks to everyone we have worked in partnership with this year to achieve a wonderful experience for young people!
TMS had a fantastic day at Cotswold Wildlife Park this park this week! 30 of the Young People and staff visited the park for a wonderful experience!
TMS had in an incredible day out today as they hired out Sherborne Cinema Gloucester! It was a fantastic day with over 40 staff and young people watching a movie together! Hopefully, this is something we can promote further in the future!
TMS staff visited Skillzone last week with most of their young people. Here they were able to make connections and interact with a wide range of companies, educational providers and other services. This resulted in one young person from TMS being requested as a guest speaker to inspire future young people in similar positions.
TMS have got the young people and staff to engage in our own TMS Olympics. This is a 4 day event where all the young people get allocated countries and compete as teams to gain points for the winning teams. Here they were competing in various events such as long jump, 400m and shotput.
The weather was not the kindest, but the TMS young people and staff battled the odds to take part in the orienteering event. They worked as a team to climb Robinswood Hill.
TMS have attended the HALT project in Cheltenham to with a group of excited young people. Here they learnt skills of working with anxious animals as well as the life skills to look after a pet.
TMS are so lucky and super excited to announce that they are moving to brand new expansive premises in heart of Gloucester. This will provide an even bigger working space for all TMS to enjoy with bespoke working spaces, improved social areas, fully fitted kitchen and quiet sensory rooms. We are opening the doors September 2024.

Here at TMS, we have celebrated World Book Day with a selection of staffs favourite books.
To celebrate Red Nose Day, the TMS Team are taking part in Egg Nose day! Decorative boiled eggs will be created by Young people, which will then take part in a range of activities... followed by the main event! Young people will get the chance to crack eggs on senior staff!
The TMS crew were in full swing, all taking part in efforts to get the TMS allotment ready for the new harvest!
The first annual winner of TMS Bake Off has been announced! With some amazing creations by everyone who took part! The upside down pineapple cake just tipped the victory!
TMS have announced a baking competition for all YPs to take part in with the winners being selected by a judging panel!
Santa made a visit to TMS this year to hand out gifts to the YPs! He even brought the snow!

Here at TMS the staff and young people have created their own remembrance artwork for the armistice. This was joined with a company wide minute silence at 11am on Friday!
We are already getting into the Christmas spirit at TMS, with our young people getting very artistic, creating a Christmas Grinch.
TMS have created a relaxing sensory zone that we are calling the Zen Den! Here the young people can have some quiet time away from others and relax on the comfy bean bags, read a book, or play a game!
Art is great way for the young people to express themselves, with the young people at TMS showing their artistic sides with these artworks!
TMS are promoting healthy eating with the young people, who have thrived with this and created some fantastic healthy meals such as this tasty stir fry!
TMS have opened a brand-new coffee hub club in Kingsholm, where all staff and young people can relax and interact on bean bags and gaming chairs with a smoothie maker and coffee machine! Together, some of the young people have created a smoothie and milkshake recipe book!
At TMS we promote the young people to take part in as much baking and cooking where possible, promoting the independence of choosing ingredients and culinary skills. Here are some of the marvellous creations that have been concocted by the young people.
TMS have welcomed a new addition to the team! Daphne has joined us and has been a popular pup with all staff and young people!
Here at TMS we are very fortunate to have access to a local allotment that we maintain with the help of the young people throughout the year. This year, some of the young people chose what to plant and helped harvest it this year, with the following produce being harvested.
TMS fully endorsed Halloween this year and all staff and young people took on the challenge of carving their own pumpkins. This was selected by the young people as the winner of this years TMS Pumkin Challenge!
