Colin has been the only person who has managed to engage my son who has been out of school with autistic burnout and school trauma for many years. Many have tried but all others have failed. They have built an incredible relationship that's low demand and where he does not need to mask. They have formed a deeply connected relationship that's taken a huge amount of time and patience from TMS. TMS have understood the PDA profile and that it's a 'can't not wont'. Daily TMS meet him 'where he is' with no judgement, understanding every day is different and flexibility is key. They understand differences in autistic communication, thought and play and work in a neuro-affirming way to help him feel 'safe'. They co-regulate with him brilliantly and have managed to help him leave the house and enter the community, understanding and supporting his debilitating levels of anxiety. Since having TMS his mental health has improved greatly. Their communication with us as parents has been daily, with us all working together to meet the very complex needs of my son. They understand predictability and the importance of trust and have never let him down.

TMS are now also supporting our two young children who are also neurodivergent and currently out of school. TMS was a recommendation by a mental health professional, and I feel incredibly fortunate that colin and his team are now supporting my children. They are extremely easy to have in our home, never feeling imposing, just supportive. I cannot recommend them enough and the important work that they do for young people and their entire family!

If I was asked to describe TMS in one word it would be outstanding! Without my TMS mentor helping me over the past year I wouldn't have been able to overcome my struggles and finally move on from my past, continuing to make a better future. The staff have helped me to become a better person as well as making my sessions the highlight of my week and I wish there were more people in the world like them.

TMS has supported my child through many difficult situations, they have always been supportive to us as a family. They go above and beyond to help and since my child has been working with them and we couldn't have done it without them! I wish there were more people like TMS.

My 10-year-old has loved his sessions and the mentor who really understands him has boosted his mental health and self-esteem! It's been a pleasure having TMS involved with my family!

Our son had a positive experience with Larry and Colin as he was finishing school and, when he hit a particularly difficult time in young adulthood, he was keen to re-establish contact with them. Now his weekly sessions are really important to him, and to us as parents. As someone who finds making friends and trusting others very hard, he benefits from the regular, safe and enjoyable contact that they provide. They go above and beyond what we would have expected and he knows they care about him. As well as taking him out, they have supported him with doctor's appointments and meetings with his social worker. He allows them to touch on some difficult subjects and give him advice. We have very much appreciated their reliability and excellent communication.

Working with Lou and Bev, changed my life, in fact it saved my life. At first I was stubborn, worried and scared to let them in my home, but they earnt my trust and most importantly my children's. Their words will live with me for life and the most important ones that I remember daily are 'that you can't fake love'. I will always be grateful to them for all the work and support they gave me and my children. Opening your home is scary, but with these it don’t have to be, take that from a mum who never trusted anyone.

Can I take this opportunity to provide some feedback. During the time you have been supporting this family, TMS have provided an excellent service. Visits have been regular and consistently in accordance with the needs of the LA/family. The diary sheets are detailed, accurate and provided in a timely way. A representative has attended every support review meeting and highlighted straight away any safeguarding concerns. Your service has been significant in supporting us to accurately assess the needs of the family and decide on a longer-term plan for the children. For over 12 months, TMS and ourselves have worked closely to provide alternative education for the young people that are placed with us. The young people often have been out of education for an extremely long period and through this difficulty TMS work tirelessly in encouraging them to engage and seek to have positive outcomes for all the young people involved. They are extremely professional in their approach and also have great times with the kids..!!!!!! I would have no hesitation in recommending them to other providers..!!!

TMS offered a bespoke package of support to suit the needs of the young person who needed an alternative part-time provision. They ensured they were fully prepared to meet the needs of this young person by meeting with the team/family around the young person beforehand and their communication during the period of support was excellent.
